About Us
The Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA ) is a private, non-profit Community Action Agency with 59 years of experience with myriad of human service programs offered to economically and socially challenged residents of the Arrowhead Region. AEOA's mission is to strengthen communities by providing opportunities for people experiencing social and economic challenges. The Agency has grown in response to community needs and offers a wide range of programming, including Employment and Training; Head Start and Early Head Start; Housing Services; Arrowhead Transit, Housing Resources; and Senior & Nutrition Services. AEOA's current service area covers twelve (12) counties in Northeastern Minnesota and with an annual budget of over $35 million, the Agency is one of Minnesota's largest non-profits.
