She received her B.A. in Biology from Kalamazoo College in 1992 and her Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolution from Iowa State University in 2000. As Dean\, she is focused on creating equitable\, just and inclusive opportunities for faculty\, staff and students in the college and efforts aimed at improving student success and achievement. \n\n \n\nElise Cole\, Comedian\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n\nElise Cole is a Minnesota-based comedian and 2018-2019 co-producer of the People Of Comedy showcase in Minneapolis. She draws her humor from being a wife\, mother\, waitress\, grad student\, and published writer who is embracing the challenges of day-to-day life.
